Multiple Accounts

If you have multiple accounts accessible from the same TWS Desktop session, you can monitor them all in OptionsRealTime.

This applies when:

  • You have multiple accounts under the same login (e.g., individual + IRA)
  • All accounts are accessible from a single TWS Desktop instance

In Rover, add a new row for each account:

Rover multiple accounts

  • Same Host and Port — All accounts connect through the same TWS instance
  • Unique Client IDs — Each account must have a different Client ID (1, 2, 3, etc.)
  • Test each account — Click Test for each row to verify connectivity
  • Save the configuration — Go to File > Save

Click Start Account Analyzers to begin streaming data for all accounts. Once the analyzers are running, click either of the Web UI buttons on Rover to launch a browser.

Click either of the Web UI buttons on Rover, or open any browser on your network and type the address shown on the button. For example: http://MyMachineName.local:5000

All connected accounts are available. Select one, several, or all. Charts, metrics, quotes, tables and reports update based on your selection. Open additional browser windows or tabs to display different views side by side.
